About Dihexa

Dihexa is a small, orally active angiotensin IV analog developed at Washington State University. In rats it reversed memory deficits in several models and promoted new synapse formation by activating the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)/c-Met system. It has never been tested in a published human trial.

Dihexa calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg Dihexa vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Dihexa have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
