hCG reconstitution calculator

hCG is commonly supplied as 5 mg, 10 mg vials. Pick a vial size and a water volume to see the concentration and what each syringe mark holds. Enter a target amount to see the draw. This page does not suggest any amount.

About hCG

Human chorionic gonadotropin is the hormone that pregnancy tests detect. It activates the same receptor as LH, so it is used to trigger ovulation, stimulate testosterone production in men with pituitary deficiency, and treat undescended testes. It has no proven role in weight loss.

hCG calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg hCG vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does hCG have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.

Where can I read the research on hCG?
