About Livagen

Livagen is a 4-residue peptide from the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, described by its developers as a bioregulator of the liver. Livagen has been studied by the group for effects on chromatin decondensation in lymphocytes from older donors, as well as liver function.

Livagen calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg Livagen vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 10 mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 50 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Livagen have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 10 mg in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
