IGF-1 splice-variant peptide
MGF and PEG-MGF reconstitution calculator
MGF and PEG-MGF is commonly supplied as 2 mg, 5 mg vials. Pick a vial size and a water volume to see the concentration and what each syringe mark holds. Enter a target amount to see the draw. This page does not suggest any amount.
Work backwards: pick how many syringe units you want each draw to be, and the calculator tells you how much water gives that concentration.
Example values shown. Larger draws (10 units or more) are easier to measure accurately than very small ones.

About MGF and PEG-MGF
MGF refers to a peptide from the unique tail of IGF-1Ec, a form of IGF-1 produced by muscle after mechanical stress. Early cell studies suggested it expanded muscle stem cells, but a later independent study found no effect of the synthetic peptide on myoblasts or muscle stem cells.
MGF and PEG-MGF calculator questions
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg MGF and PEG-MGF vial?
The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.
What concentration does MGF and PEG-MGF have after reconstitution?
Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
