Short peptide bioregulators

Professor Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues have published for decades on very short peptides, each said to act on a specific tissue by regulating gene expression. The work is extensive but comes largely from one group and its collaborators, often in Russian-language journals. Independent replication is sparse, so treat tissue-specific claims as hypotheses.
